CI started as a mastering engineer in 1991/92, at Visom Digital, in Rio de Janeiro - the first Sonic Solutions in operation in the Southern emisphere. At that time, the record companies started transfering their catalogs to CD. It allowed me to work on the masters of many classic albums of MPB, most of which I already knew, as a music lover.

 

DUring the same period, I premastered albums by Lulu Santos, Gabriel o Pensador, Banda Eva, Roberto Carlos, Xuxa, Daniela Mercury, among others. Besides these releases, I restaured and premastered the album catalog for artists such as Raul Seixas, Chico Buarque, Jorge Ben, Elba Ramalho, Tim Maia, Gal Costa, Caetano Veloso, Gilberto Gil, Zé Ramalho, among others, having had the chance to premaster some classics, like "Tropicália".
